Before you lift a single weight, your journey begins in my profile settings. Here, you'll enter key information like your fitness goal and body stats. This is the foundation of your experience, as it allows FlexGear to help you track progress toward what matters most to you.
Step 2: Log My First Activity and Earn XP
Every workout you do is a victory, and FlexGear rewards you for it. After each gym session or sports activity, use the "Log New Activity" button to record your effort. The app will automatically calculate your XP (experience points) based on the intensity and duration of your workout. It's a simple, rewarding way to turn your hard work into tangible progress. You can easily add exercises, sets, reps, and weights for gym sessions or select a sport and its duration for sports activities.
Step 3: Track My Progress with the Dashboard
My dashboard is your mission control. It provides an overview of your progress, including: Total XP: A running total of your hard work. Rank and League: See how you stack up against the competition and track your progress to the next level. Current Streak: Track your consistency and keep the fire burning! A snowflake appears if your streak is in danger. Recent Activity: Get a quick view of your last five workouts and the XP you earned for each.
Step 4: Compete and Get Inspired on the Leaderboard
The leaderboard is where the fun really begins. It's an opportunity to see how you stack up against other users in your gender category. You can watch your rank change as you earn more XP, and send a virtual clap (or "Clap!") to a fellow FlexGear user to celebrate their success. Use this as a source of motivation, friendly competition, and community engagement.
Step 5: Get Expert Help from the Tools and the Blog
FlexGear is more than a tracking tool; it's a resource hub. In the "Tools" section, you'll find helpful calculators to help you with things like macros and one-rep maxes. Be sure to visit the blog for articles on a variety of fitness topics.
